Airplane Quilt

Well, here it is! The finished top. I need to go pick up some batting for it and than I can get it basted and ready to be quilted.

It turned out to be 40″ x 40″. All 8″ squares. I am thinking that I am just going to quilt and bind it. It has so many colors on it that I think a border would just be too much. I am planning on using the dot fabric (inside the green squares) as my binding.

Ordered my fabric yesterday for my next project. Should be here sometime this week. So excited to show everyone what I picked out to do next! It is going to be a bit complicated (it involves templates that I made) but I think it will be fun!! More to come on that later!
